2017 Home to Cunnamulla Qld

Got away early and made it to Sue and Terry's in Cullen Bullen in time for bacon and eggs by the warm fire , it was a great start to our trip. We next grabbed a coffee at Dubbo so we could have it with the Anzac biscuits that Sue made for us to take with us, yum.
Was a long day but made it to Bourke, where we camped at Kidman's camp. What a great spot, good campsite which was followed by a campfire dinner with a bush poet , a great funny night, recommend it to all.
The next day after a cold start, we headed off to Queensland. There was a lot of dead kangaroos and emus on the road and it is very dry. Decided not to have a big day driving so found a campsite by the river at Warrego tourist park. Cunnamulla.
Another great camp then we had happy hour . This was the funniest happy couple of hours, with me being chosen to be the official complaints coordinator of the raffle and Laurie won one of the raffles, which he had to collect his surprise parcel in front of the crowd of about 40 people then this guy John explained his prize. A deck of super sized playing cards for old people. A potato peeler to peel his back and other places a Swiss bottle opener made in China etc. etc
Another great camp highly recommended.
